The American Physiological Society (APS) takes the health and safety of all conference attendees, guest of attendees, vendors and staff very seriously. APS requires all conference attendees to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccines and to wear masks.

Participants should have their final vaccine dose by June 11, 2022, to be considered “fully vaccinated” and able to attend the conference. As of December 2021, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defines fully vaccinated as two weeks after a second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccines; or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as the Johnson & Johnson/ Janssen vaccine. APS follows current CDC definitions of fully vaccinated.

Advance Registration

Register early and save! The advance registration deadline is Friday, June 10, 2022. After this date, the registration rate will increase so register early and save!

Registration Deadline 

The registration deadline is Monday, June 17, 2022. There will be no on-site registration, due to the required vaccination verification process.

The registration fee includes entry into the opening reception and all scientific sessions, poster sessions and meals during the conference.

The online registration site accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit card payments only. Purchase orders, checks and bank transfers are not accepted.

Registration Cancellation Policy

The registration cancellation deadline is Tuesday, June 14, 2022. After this date, no portion of the registration can be refunded.

Please submit all cancellation requests via email along with your advance registration receipt. A $100 registration cancellation processing fee will be assessed.  Refunds will be issued within three weeks of the cancellation request, minus the cancellation fee. Abstract submission fees are not refundable.

Guest Fees

If you would like to have a family member or guest join you during the conference and be provided with meals, please contact the APS Office of Scientific Meetings to make arrangements. All guests are required to follow the verification of vaccination status protocols.

Special Assistance

Please contact the APS Office of Scientific Meetings to make arrangements for attendees who require special assistance or diet requests. The conference venue is fully accessible to all participants.

Program/Abstract Volume

All abstracts submitted for this conference will be accessible through an online shared folder. The link to the abstracts will be shared approximately one week prior to the conference and will be accessible for one month after the conference.

Important Note

By registering for the conference, attendees consent to having their photograph taken and the possibility of the photo being used in future APS promotional materials.
