Home / Professional Development / Meetings & Events / Webinars / APS Webinars: Community Request Form

The American Physiological Society (APS) is requesting ideas for scientific, career and professional development topics. The goal of APS webinars is to expand the skills and knowledge that will help our members be successful physiologists at all career levels. This webinar request form provides a platform for members to share their ideas for future APS-hosted webinars. Key performance indicators for the APS webinars include:

  • advancing the frontiers of physiology;
  • defining the future of physiological sciences; and
  • providing programs that nurture the careers of early-, mid-career and established physiologists.

Topics that can be presented in 60 minutes or less and are conducive to an online format are ideal for webinars. Partnerships with nonmembers or scientists who may not self-identify as physiologists are encouraged, as well as ideas from and for mid-career investigators.

To request an APS-hosted webinar, please complete the form fields below and submit.

Please note:

  • A minimum of 6 to 8 weeks advance notice is required.
  • Submission of a webinar request does not guarantee approval.
  • Webinars will not be scheduled concurrently. You may be asked to submit alternate dates.
  • APS cannot promote, endorse or recommend products or services.

APS staff will review submissions monthly and will notify members of their request status by the 10th of the following month.
