Pre-Summit Center for Physiology Education Workshop Registration

This introductory workshop will guide participants through the sequence of actions required to initiate and develop educational research projects, to carry them through to peer-reviewed publication. An overview presentation will provide the conceptual framework for educational research. Participants will be able to choose between two of three breakout topics:

• Experimental Design/Data Analysis,
• Navigating Educational IRBs, and
• Publishing in Educational Research.
  

Each breakout topic will be facilitated by experts and will be focused on the participant’s projects. The session will conclude with strategies for managing an educational research project and bringing it to publication. Participants in this workshop will enhance their personal educational research skills and also develop a network of colleagues to support their educational research activities.

Note: This session is an in-person event that will be held as a pre-Summit event on Thursday April 20, 2023. All attendees must be registered for the Summit to attend this session.
