Women’s Health Research Center

Our research in Mississippi is helping women worldwide. The five greatest health challenges for women are heart disease and stroke, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes, high blood pressure during pregnancy and low birth weight babies, and cancer. The Women’s Health Research Center is studying these diseases and helping develop treatments tailored to women.
