The American Physiological Society (APS) has two methods to apply for an award. Self-nomination means you are submitting application materials on your own behalf and are applying for the award yourself. Submitting application materials on someone else’s behalf means you are recommending or nominating them for the award. For either application method, it is very important to update your membership profile and use the email address associated with your or your colleague’s APS account.
